Reclaimed Wood Tree House
While shading from the intense 2019 summer sun, I found a nice spot under the trees to build a deck for yoga, relaxation, and testing my solar panels.  To keep out rain, bugs, bears and rabbits, I created an enclosure and a bench, with gates that keep bears from wandering directly in, plastic windows, an insulated cover for the open side, and a heater, so that I can use it all year long.
I built it competely alone, using reclaimed materials, mostly from pallets, without attaching to the trees.

Update 2020: Having survived the winter with only a tarp for protection, I built a nice permanent roof and a pergola.

Update 2021: Began upgrading the floor from pallet wood, because the squirrels and mice moved into it.

Phase 1: a hideout in the trees.
Phase 2: a roof,  floor, window and shelf!
